2008 Gallery: Gouken

Como dije hace un mes o asi, me quedaba por poner la galeria del pasado 2008. Lamentablemente no la pude poder, no solo por falta de tiempo, tambien por que el servidor en el que estan alojadas todas las imágenes me dejara de dar servicio en unos dias, por lo que hasta que este solucionado no me voy a preocupar en otras cosas. Por lo pronto y para que no me olvideis los que no comprais los comics aqui teneis una de esas imágenes del año pasado, aprovechando que acaba de ser lanzado el Street Fighter IV.

Sobre el dibujo, aunque pueda parecer descuidado en algunos aspectos (el trazo grueso y poco uniforme) en realidad intentaba imitar (con no tan buenos resultados como esperaba) al dibujante oficial del juego, que usa pincel grueso y queda un dibujo entre boceto y dibujo antiguo japones.

Mira ambos dibujos, el de arriba y el de abajo, tienen una pequeña diferencia ;)

A moth ago I said I was looking to upload the 2008 gallery. I regret I can't do it, not only cause I got not time, also because the server are all image allowed will shup ut the service for me in few days. Cause of that I will not worry on that till I fount a new site where to upload everything. To refresh your memory about me I upload here a artwork from the 2008, taking the oppotunity of the recent released of the new Street Fighter IV on consoles.

About the illustration, this will look careless in some aspect (traced thick and low accurrated) but I tryed to imitate (with worst result that expected) the oficial illutrator from the game than uses a thick brush and look at half way between sketch an acient japanese drawings.

Check bot drawings, up and down, have a small difference ;)

Splinter from TMNT

Splinter siempre fue uno de mis personajes favoritos, aunque no soy muy dado a dibujar con estilo furry, aqui esta mi versión de este personaje de TMNT, una de las series de mi juventud. Esta serie paso por muchas versiones y revisiones, la peor (aunque recordada con más cariño) fue sin duda la primera de animación (olvidando por completo la de imágen real, que olvidemos que existio, mejor dicho, no existe, no no no, me niego) que por culpa de la censura y demasiadas licencias en el guión la hicieron infantil a más no poder. La versión nueva de animación es bastante más fiel al original pero Spliter esta algo más feo. Las peliculas de imágen real eran una mezcla entre el comic original de Kevin + Peter y la versión animada televisiva, ofreciendo una más que decente versión y con el Spliter más guapo de todos. Tras eso la secuela que tenia un trato más infantil y tomaba como punto de inicio un pequeño arco argumental del comic original, no estaba mal aunque algo inferior la primera. Tenia un Spliter algo más feote, no se hasta que punto influyo la muerte de Jim Henson (el mago de las marionetas) en esto. TMNT3 que viajaban a un supuesto Japón feudal (por que se notaba que era decorado) y que a mi me encanto, tenia el Spliter más feo de todos, pero la pelicula era divertida.

Splinter was and is one of my favorite characters though normally I don't draw with furry style, here is my version of this character from TMNT, one of my youth favorite cartoons. This series passed away a lot of versions, the wors (but remembered with most fond) is the 1st animation one (forget the life action TV series, than never we gonna admit than exist) cause censoreship and a lot of personal script licences, the story got childish. New animation version is much accurated with the original, but Splinter look a little ugly. The life action movies was a mixture of the original comic by Kevin + Peter and the TV cartoon, than was a very good version and show the most handsome Spliter of all. After that the sequel than was a little bit childish and got a small story from the original comic book, was not bad at all, but the 1st one was better. Splinter was a little most ugly, maybe causes Jim Henson (Puppet wizard) but is still cool. TMNT3 travels to the Ancient Japan was very cool, but it have the most ugly Spliter of the three versions.

Tonight Santa comes to you!

Como es habitual por estas fechas, me gusta hacer un dibujo de Santa, mi personaje favorito de siempre y por siempre. El gordito bonachón te saluda con la mano (y con otra cosa)

Pronto habilitare la sección de dibujos de este año donde se incluira este dibujo y otros que tengo rondando por aqui.



As usual to date, I like to draw a santa's drawing, my favorite character for ever and ever. The good-natured chubby is waving to you with his hand (and another thing)
