Como es habitual por estas fechas, me gusta hacer un dibujo de Santa, mi personaje favorito de siempre y por siempre. El gordito bonachón te saluda con la mano (y con otra cosa)

Pronto habilitare la sección de dibujos de este año donde se incluira este dibujo y otros que tengo rondando por aqui.

New work preview!

Aqui teneis una primera imágen de mi nuevo trabajo. Se trata de la primera pagina que nos adentrara en la historia. En grande teneis al protagonista señalando con el dedo a un delicuente, un hombre de mediana edad, gordito, algo peludo, con bigote y rapado al cero. Todavía estoy pensando el nombre de la historia, en principio puede ser algo asi como Detective Puzzle, un apodo que se le dara por su particular manera de resolver los casos.

Here is the 1st shot from my new work. This is the first page than introduce us at the story and main character. He is a big bear, hairy, with mustache and shafe head than point the criminal with the finger. I'm still thinking at the name to this, What's about Detective Puzzle? This will be the nickname than uses cause his special way to sorted the cases.

Hoy no voy a hacer de que todavía busco gente que me ayude con la revisión final de Bearemon, si no de lo que estoy haciendo actualmente.

Estoy trabajando en un comic sobre detectives que todavía no tiene nombre. Trata sobre un hombre que tiene una habilidad especial para resolver los casos. Por ahora no se va a poner en la red, si no que es un proyecto de presentación para una editorial de comics aqui en España. Si ellos lo rechazan seguramente lo ponga a disposición de todo en Chubold.

Es un trabajo que me lo estoy tomando más en serio de lo normal por que quiero que de un aspecto más serio y más profesional a lo que hago normalmente, en especial me estoy currando más los decorados que normalmente paso de ellos por que no me gusta mucho dibujarlos.

I don't gonna talk about i'm still looking for help for Bearemon final version, instead I gonna told you i'm doing right now.

I'm wonking on a comic about detectives than still have not name. That is about a guy with a special ability to close their cases. This is not gonna be online right now because is a proyect for a spanish comic publisher, but if they don't want it maybe I will put it at Chubold for everyone want it.

This is a proyect i'm woking hard than usual cause I want it to look more reliable and professional than I do normaly, on special i'm woking for background than normaly I don't draw cause I don't like to do them.

Pues eso, todavía estoy buscando alguien que me ayude con el repaso a la versión final del juego. Tan solo tendria que pasarse la versión candidate (no la beta) y apuntar en un block de notas los pequeños fallos que tenga, pues como ya dije esta practicamente acabado a falta de pulirlo un poco. Quiero recordar una vez más que los que ayuden se veran reflejados en los creditos del juego y solo podran participar aquellos que comprasen la versión beta/candidate. En el caso de poseer la beta y querer ayudar, ponerse en contacto conmigo (por mail o por el foro del menu de la derecha) para enviar la versión candidate.

Lamentablemente el chaval que estaba revisando el juego para la versión final de Bearemon tuvo problemas personales y no podra ayudar, por lo que la versión final se vera retrasada hasta que alguien pueda ocupar su lugar.

Si alguien tiene la versión Candidate (se envia en lugar de la beta a los que compran el juego desde hace como un mes) o eres uno de los compradores de la beta y piensas que puedes ayudar (en cuyo caso te enviaria un link para descargar la Candidate) ponte en contacto conmigo mediante e-mail o por nuestro foro.

Quiero recordar que la versión Candidate es una versión casi final que solo requiere de alguna pequeña revisión y depuración. Todo aquel que ayude en la versión beta se vera reflejado en los creditos finales del juego.

Bearemon set of illustrations

Estaba el otro dia mirando todo lo que dibuje en el año y pico que me llevo terminar Bearemon. Creo que hacia mucho tiempo que no dibujaba tanto. La verdad es que fue una gran experiencia que me enseño muchos trucos y me ayudo a mejorar mi tecnica. Creo que hay una diferencia notoria entre las ilustraciones de los primeros capitulos a la de los últimos.

En la foto siguiente podeis ver el volumen de hojas usado para crear el juego. A la izquierda un plano general de todos los dibujos, a la derecha el grosor de volumen de todos juntos. Son en total casi 180 hojas (entre dibujos base, capas y diseños) que componen el total de las ilustraciones usadas en el juego.


Some days ago I was watching all I draw since one year ago than took me to finish Bearemon. Wasn't not working so hard on this since long time ago. Rearry was a nice experience than I learn lot of trick to improve my skills. I feel is a big difference between the first chapters illustrations to the last one.

At the previous picture you can see the volume of the sheets I used to create the game. At left is a general shot of all Drawing I used, at right is the thickness of volume of all thogether. La versión Candidate de Bearemon esta ya disponible. Vuelvo a repetir que esta versión es una revisión de la beta y que se asemeja mucho más a lo que sera la versión final, que seguramente sera lanzada en la proxima ocasión. Esta Candidate por ahora solo sera distribuida a los nuevos clientes y a la gente que esta ayudando con la revisión debido a problemas con el servidor.

La versión revisada de Bearemon esta casi terminada, solo quedan algunas frases de los caminos alternativos y un par de detalles. La beta de Bearemon esta corregida en un 70%, lo que quiere decir que dentro de poco tendre una versión casi definitiva. Tras tenerla 100% lanzare una versión candidate que sera practicamente como la final pero a la que solo le queda revisar una vez más para comprobar que todo esta en su sitio. Lo que no tengo claro es si se la enviare a todo el mundo que compro el juego o esperare a la versión definitiva, por problemas de ancho de banda en el servidor. En principio la recibiran quien me esta ayudando revisando todo.

Decidi bajar el precio del juego por que el chaval de Chubold me insistio mucho en ello. Al final si compras el juego por medio de su web tiene el precio antiguo, pero el pago por medio de Paypal (que es el que se usa en esta web) bajaria 5$ por que no tiene tasas ni comisiones. Para no ser injusto con aquellos que compraron el juego los primeros por medio de esta web, reembolsare esos 5$ por medio de un pago de Paypal proximamente.

Buenas noticias, ya tengo licenciada la versión profesional del engine y ya tengo una versión completa de la versión beta. Ahora necesito diseñar un sistema de descargas y algunas cosillas más.

Very good news, I licenced the pro version of the engine and I have already a full version of the beta version. Now I need think on download system and small some details.

Bearemon beta finished!

Tengo buenas y malas noticias. La buena es que ya tengo completamente terminada la beta del juego. Como ya dije esta beta es practicamente tal y como sera la versión final, y solo falta revisar la traducción al ingles y quizás corregir algún pequeño detalle para la versión final. La mala noticia es que hasta ahora estaba trabajando sobre una versión gratuita del motor de juego, pero que no me sirve para la versión de venta por que tiene algunas limitaciones, puesto que no sabia si terminaria el juego no compre la versión profesional, y ahora resulta que el motor parece practicamente abandonado. Estoy esperando un mail de los desarrolladores a ver que me dicen.


I have good and bad news. The good one is: the beta version is completly finished. This is almost the same than final version but need to check my english translation and maybe fix some small issues. The bad new is than I was working with a free version of the game engine cause I was not sure to finish it, but this is not good version cause have some limitations. Since I was not sure about to finish the proyect, I was waiting for but the professional version, but now the engine seem almost abandoned. I'm waiting for a email from the developed team.

La encuesta sobre el personaje de Manuel termino con los siguientes resultados:

Este personaje me trajo muchos quebraderos de cabeza, tanto en diseño como en personalidad. Necesitaba alguien que fuera "malote" pero lo suficientemente bueno como para que Mobita fuera su amigo. Por eso queria darle un aspecto fiero y que en cierto modo diese miedo a simple vista. Finalmente me salio algo más dulce de lo esperado, pero pretendo que aunque sea un personaje de buen corazón, actue diferente a como piensa.

Lo divertido de todo el asunto es que tiempo despues de tener el diseño final estuve viendo pinturas antiguas japonesa con luchadores de sumo (el personaje es un luchador de sumo) mientras me documentaba sobre este deporte y en una salia un personaje bastante parecido.

This is a character a very difficult character to me, that includes design and personalitie. I was looking to insert a "bad guy" but enough good guy to be friend of Mobita. That is why I was looking to for a wild-looking man than scare if you fount him at street. Finally is sweeter, but I'm looking for a nice guy than acts very different than really think.

The funny thing is than long time after to have a final desing I was looking for old japanese art with sumo fighters (this character is a sumo fighter) when I was doing research about to this sport and I watch a very similar character.

Tras esto ya se añadieron los caminos y algunos elementos decorativos (sonidos, música...) y repase todo el juego para ver que no tenia fallos. Espero que no se colara ninguno. Lo siguiente que quiero hacer es repasar todas las ilustraciones (sobre todo las primeras, que en muchas de ellas paso más de un año con respecto a las últimas) para mejorarlas y añadir algunos elementos.

Estaba pensando en hacer una cosa, y es que puesto que soy un aficionado y no puedo pagar a nadie (y tampoco espero que se venda tanto el juego, los amantes de los osos + daddies + manga + mi nefasto estilo de dibujo debeis ser pocos, que desde que abri el blog nadie escribio una sola palabra) para que revise mi pesimo ingles... queria que vosotros, todos me ayudarais.

La idea es que cuando lo termine y ponga a la venta, venderia una versión beta del juego. Este seria igual que la versión final pero con mi cutre-ingles. Tras eso todos me ayudariais a corregirlo a traves de foro, posteando las frases mal escritas y su corrección. Todos los que ayuden apareceran en los creditos del juego final (podreis elegir nombre real o un apodo) y posteriormente todos los que compraron la versión beta (ayuden o no) recibiran la versión final con todo bien.

Por cierto, queria sacar tambien una versión en castellano, pero finalmente decidi no hacerlo por que el motor de juego no permite meter muchos caracteres de nuestro idioma (la eñe, las tildes, abrir interrogación, admiración...) hasta que no lo arreglen, que vete a saber cuando sera, prefiero no trabajar en ello para despues tener que revisar todo de nuevo.

With this, I added some path and decorative elements (sounds, music) and I check all the whole game for any bug. I hope no one scaped. Next is check and retouch all the illustrains (on special the first 2-3 chapters, think some of them as passed more than one year) to upgrade and add some elements.

I beed thinking to do something, that is since i'm only a enthusiast and I can't pay someone (and I don't expect to sold a lot since the lovers of bears + daddies + manga + my awful artworks mush be very little number, cause since the start of this blog no one posted any word) to check my poor english.. I was looking to you to help me.

The idea is put on sale a beta versión of the game. This will be exactly the same than final versión but my bad english. After this everyone than buy it can help me to correct it posting at forums the bad sentences and his good version. Bearemon chapter 8: 100%!

Si, por fin termine el episodio 8, y con esto pongo fin a la historia que tenia planeada. Pensaba que nunca acabaria, pero mitad por donde. Eso si, esto no quiere decir que el juego este acabado. Todavía me queda mejorar algunos detalles, revisar fallos y añádir diferentes opciones a la historia principal, pero al menos lo más dificil esta hecho.

Se termina el capitulo 7, y finalmente necesitare un capitulo 8 para finalizar la historia. Este capitulo 8 es el más corto pero tambien el que me llevara más tiempo en finalizar por que al ser el final, incluire muchas ilustraciones que me llevaran bastante tiempo por que como dije antes, no tengo apenas nada avanzado (apenas tengo un 5% del total)

Finalmente el capitulo 7 apenas tiene algo de sexo, por que cuenta muchos secretos sobre los personajes. Queria dejar bien claro cual era el papel de cada uno para que si finalmente decido hacer alguna secuela, pueda tener mayor libertad.

Aqui estan los resultados sobre la encuesta de Bearemon:

Estoy muy contento con este diseño. Queria hacer un personaje que pareciera un poco felino, e intente que pareciera un poco un león (como referencia al personaje original) pero tambien fuera muy oso. Ciertamente el tema que sea el personaje más peludo me trae muchos quebraderos de cabeza por que es dificil trabajarlo a color y hacer los recortes necesarios para despues insertarlo en los fondos y establecer las transparencias, pero espero que guste mucho. Su personalidad desenfadada y su total disposición a la hora de practicar sexo son sus puntos a favor. Ademas, creo que la historia sobre él es muy divertida. Por cierto, el diseño del personaje sera un poquito diferente en el juego, solo dos detalles ;)

I'm happy with the this desing. I was looking to make a like feline character , because that I tried than look like a leon (reference to the original character) but also like a bear guy. Cause is the most hairy guy, that makes it hard to draw, and is difficult to work with color and make cuts to insert in backgrounds and set transpacency, but I hope than likes to everyone. His good things are a carefree personality and full ready have sex anytime. Also I think than the story about his will be funny. By the way... the final desing will be a little different, but just two details ;)

Hoy terminé el capitulo 6 de Bearemon, me llevo un poco más de lo esperado por que quedaban por realizar los dibujos finales que eran bastantes. El siguiente capítulo voy a tardar mucho por que no tengo hecho practicamente nada. No estoy seguro de si el siguiente sera el último capítulo o necesitare otro más.

Today I finished Bearemon´s chapter 6, this taked a little longer than expected cause was a buch of art left. Next chapter will take a lot of time cause almost I done nothing. I'm not sure if this is the last one of I will need another chapter.

Bearemon chapter 6: 75%

Es cierto, hice todo el 75% del capitulo 6 en un dia. En realidad y como paso anteriormente, ya tenia gran parte de los dibujos hechos de antemano (que es lo que lleva más tiempo) solo me faltaba hacer el script. Me falta una escena dentro del capitulo para terminarlo. Despues de eso estoy barajando de meter algo, pero no se exactamente como, aunque tengo una idea.

Is true, I made all the whole 75% of the chapter in one day. Really, just like previously post, a a large extent of the art was already finished (that is than takes most time) just the script was all I need it. Is a scene left to finishe the chapter. Ya esta bastante avanzado el capitulo 5, y no creo que tarde mucho en ser completado. En un par de dias deberia de tenerlo al menos hasta el 70% puesto que practicamente todos los dibujos del principio estan acabados.

Capitulo 4 acabado en un tiempo record. Aunque en realidad esta afirmación es un poco tramposa, pues lo hice más corto a favor de meter más cosas. A cambio el juego tendra un capitulo más. Se puede decir que el antiguo capitulo 4 fue dividido en dos y actualmente llevo el 50%.

Chapter finished with record. Really this affirmation have a trick cause I reduced it to insert more things. Instead, the game will have one more chapter. It can say I split chapter 4 in two and I completed the 50% of the older one.

¿Como es que tardé tanto con el capitulo anterior y solo unos dias para el 4? sencillo, algunas cosas las hice al mismo tiempo, y por eso fue tan rapido. Si no hay problemas, lo terminare bastante pronto.

Ayer termine el capitulo 3 de Bearemon. Al final se alargo un poco por que decidi añadir ciertos elementos bastante morbosos, pense que estaban hablando demasiado y habia poco sexo. Ademas, me sirvio para introducir un nuevo personaje que en principio no tenia planeado y que aunque tendra poca relevancia en la historia, puede dar mucho juego.

yesterday I finished the chapter 3 of Bearemon. Finally I extend the story to add some morbidly elements, I thinking than characters was talking too much and have not many sex. Kei es un personaje que sirve como apoyo, un recurso que esta ahi para cualquier cosa. Es amable y comprensivo y siempre piensa en los demas. Fisicamente necesitaba un contrapunto a todos los osos y gorditos del juego para aquel que guste, por eso y por la tematica de la web sabia que gustaria un poco menos. De todas formas a mi me gusta mucho la cara que tiene y esa barbita ^^

Bearemon chapter 3: 70%

Puede que parezca poco el avance, pero estuve trabajando tambien en otros aspectos generales del juego. Ahora se ve mucho mejor que antes, y aunque en algunos momentos me enfado por que me gustaria que quedara mejor, poco a poco veo los resultados de mi esfuerzo. Estoy en una parte donde la historia quizás pueda resultar un poco complicada, espero que podais entenderlo todo sin demasiadas dificultades.

Maybe seem a short advance, but I was working in others game general refered. Now look much better than before, though sometimes I get angry cause I want much more, little by little I watch results of my effort. I'm in a spot where the story mush be complicate. Tuve un pequeño problema que me impidio continuar con el juego por un par de semanas, mi tableta Wacom (que uso principalmente para colorear) se rompio y no pude seguir. Direis "podrias usar el ratón" pero no, que va, se nota mucho la diferencia artistica de usar una cosa u otra. Ya tengo una nueva y puedo continuar. Suerte que tenia algo de dinero, que por lo general no es asi XD

Little problem than make me impossible to continue working with the game for 2 weeks. My tablet Wacom (tha I use to give color) got broke and that stopped me. You can say "use the mouse" but... nah, is a big artist difference using mouse or tablet. I got already a new one and I can continue. Lucky I keep some money, normaly i'm poor XD

Tengo que confesar que este es mi personaje favorito de Bearemon. Es un hombre muy amable, tranquilo y compresivo. Es bastante inteligente y siempre sonrie. Casi nunca lo veras con los ojos abiertos (expresión de felicidad, no es que este ciego) pero esto se explicara. Queria que el diseño fuera evidentemente de una persona mayor pero con mucho atractivo. Siempre viste de forma tradicional japonesa. En la historia este todo el mundo se siente atraido por este personaje.

I have to confess than this is my favorite character of Bearemon. Is a very nice man, quiet and compressive. Is smart and smiles everytime. Never open his eyes (happiness expression, is not blind!) but this will be explained. I was looking to desing a attractive old man than always wear in traditional cloths. In the story, everyone feels attracted by this character.

Aunque esto pueda parecer un pequeño paso atras en el proyecto, finalmente decidi rehacer el arte basico para los personajes que antes se suponia serian caras y ahora seran de cuerpo entero. El motivo es que tras rejugar a unos cuantos juegos de este estilo me di cuenta que asi podria contar mejor la historia con menos trabajo, aprovechando asi ese tiempo en otros aspectos del juego y alargando el tiempo jugable de este.

This will look like a little backstep with the proyect, but finally I decided to remake the basic art for the characters than before was only faces and now are full body. The reason comes after to replay some games and check than this will make best story with less work, using this times with other game aspects and getting up the gametime.

Ya termine mi pequeño descanso sobre Bearemon, fue más corto de lo esperado, pense que la edición del comic para Chubold me llevaria más tiempo y lo termine en apenas un dia y poco. ¡Lo que tiene encontrar nuevas opciones en Photoshop! Creia que tendria que volver a mi añorado Paint Shop Pro. Pronto pondre más datos sobre este comic hecho hace ya unos años.

Already I finished my little break about Bearemon, much shortten than I was expenting. I was thinking than the Chubold comic take me more, but I finished it in just a little more than one day. This happend when you learn more about Photoshop! I was thinking to get back to my missed Paint Shop Pro. Soon more about this comic made some years ago.

Si, ya se que ya no es 2007, siento el retraso pero no pude terminarlo antes. Me gusta hacer un dibujo de Santa cada año desde hace un tiempo, no quiero perder la tradición. Los comentarios seran apreciados.
